We had a Board of Directors meeting a few days ago, I wanted to make certain to get the minutes out within the correct time frame. I also need to bring up an immediate issue for folks
Our Board has myself, Ryan Gravelle, Dan Young, and currently James Fefes and Paul Strimpel who are each in by office. Prior we had Karl William Benson and Lou Mazzola, but those two have left to begin forming the Duchy of Goldenvale BoD. So, we need to fill 2 vacancies of protem seats. To be eligible you must be a member of a Core Land per the corpora. To put your name in to volunteer please do so here, UNTIL midnight Saturday the 10th. I will recap the names in a post then for a vote by Associated and Core Lands from 10/11-10/17, with results announced thereafter. Please add this to your Althing or vote dockets, and we'll have the names soon enough. The 2 folks with the highest total votes will be elected and serve until the end of the current term in January.
NOTES-
Basic update, still working on paperwork for 501c3, we now have 2 distinct bank accounts, one for Kingdom, one for Nashua. The distinct bank accounts and "clean" accounting so far will make it easier. the EZ paperwork is expected to be bounced back usually 2-3 times. $400 filing fee. We will be looking to obtain a seperate NH non-profit status for Duchy of Goldenvale outside of the Federal Kingdom of Goldenvale paperwork.
We will be working to update state non-profit paperwork to add Michael Mayer and remove Dan Young as he is looking to take an extra step away from the BoD after many many years of service.
I'm wanting to discuss fund raising to send the next summer monarch to clan. Pie the officers, 50/50 raffles, donated item raffles, and other fundraising activities will be discussed and planned. If the monarch chooses not to go to Clan we could also save the money and earmark it for a future monarch to do so.
We also have just about $2000 in the Kingdom account and cash on hand, $20 Canadian, so I want to figure out and roll out some coffer building as well. Michael Mayer has most of the bank paperwork with Dan Young holding the rest.
