October 2016
Discussed the positives and negatives of joining Goldenvale. Answered questions from members. Provided our personal insights on the matter. Answered additional questions.
Sherrif Tim Herman called for a vote, as was announced previously, regarding if we wish to become a Core Land in Goldenvale. The results from those eligible to vote was 7 For Core Land ; 0 Against Core Land ; 1 Abstained. As of this vote, Biting Winds is a Core Land as witnessed by Chancelor Melisandra.
Champion Michael Whitehouse brought up the matter of the City of Groton parade in December. We can march in it for free and carry our banner. Fireheart believes it is Dec 10th, but he will have to confirm that. Sir Marcus Bjornson & Natile Rudell provided additional insight on how much a park can benefit from exposure like that. They also pointed out how much having a good relationship with the city helps. Several members indicated that they would be interested in marching. Fireheart to confirm us for the parade.
Regent Chris Burdick handed out scrolls for awards granted since the previous Althing. This included announcing those that had received awards but were not there to accept them.
It was asked if there were any other matters that anyone wished to discuss. None were put forth. The close of the Althing for October was declared by Thrahg.

November 2016
Chris Burdick/Polar Bear handed out scrolls for awards received since the last Althing.
Tim St. Dennis/Tsuna mentioned that he had some possible alternatives for park meeting locations. It was decided that the locations would be reviewed and taken into consideration, but that most likely we will remain where we are for the time being.

Good lord it feels like I'm over doing seeing the past posts... Oh well.
Althing Minutes for March, 25th, 2017
• Tsuna Herochi (Timothy St. Dennis) has become Chancellor of the Shire of the Biting Winds • It should be noted, that since the Kingdom of Goldenvale is handling insurance, the Shire of the Biting Winds are no longer dealing with trying to become an NPO (Non-Profit Organization) • No other major issues were brought up, but a few reminders were put out: o Reminder 1: This Reign’s Theme is “Lord of the Rings”. If you wish to submit an entry, this month’s challenge being Literature, be sure to submit it before the end of the month. In addition, send your submission to both Polar Bear (Chris Burdick) and our Queen (Amber Stack). o Reminder 2: Next Thursday (March 30th) is an A&S Night at Marcus’s place. After this Thursday, our schedule will be resolved and follow a regular routine. Polar Bear to follow up on the exact details.
