Greetings all, in order to comply with a request made by the AIBoD (Amtgard International Board of Directors), international policies, and to better clarify what constitutes an Amtgard event in regards to the Zero Tolerance Policy; the Goldenvale Officers propose the following for the April Althing as an Emergency Vote:

Kingdom of Goldenvale
Zero Tolerance Policy Agreement
Amtgard, The Kingdom of Goldenvale, Inc. and all constituents have a zero tolerance policy on all forms of assault and harassment. Those actions endanger the safety of our players, and create a hostile environment which is antithetical to our goals of inclusion and fun. All victims of assault or harassment of any kind have the right and responsibility to report any incident to the proper civil or criminal authorities. No action on the part of Amtgard, The Kingdom of Goldenvale or its constituents shall impinge this right. Victims are additionally encouraged to notify Kingdom Officers or the Amtgard Ombudsman of all incidents. This policy covers any and all Kingdom of Goldenvale sanctioned Amtgard events and activities, locations including but not limited to businesses, private residences, and all other facilities where official activities are taking place. Official activities are defined as anything where members would sign in for credits or be eligible for award recognition, during specified times. For the purposes of this policy, legally emancipated minors (US) and minors who have voluntarily withdrawn from parental control (Canada) will be considered adults where allowable by law. Furthermore we assert the following statements. Agreement to these statements is required before a person may participate in Amtgard in the Kingdom of Goldenvale.

Amtgard, The Kingdom of Goldenvale, Inc. and its constituents have a zero tolerance policy on the subject of all forms of assault and harassment. I, the undersigned, understand this policy and am aware that breach of it will lead to suspension or permanent ban from Amtgard events and activities in the Kingdom of Goldenvale. I also understand that it may lead to the involvement of civil or criminal authorities.

Amtgard, The Kingdom of Goldenvale, Inc. and its constituents have a zero tolerance policy on the subject of criminal assault. I, the undersigned, understand this policy and am aware that breach of it will lead to immediate, permanent ban from Amtgard events and activities in the Kingdom of Goldenvale and immediate involvement of criminal authorities

Amtgard, The Kingdom of Goldenvale, Inc. and its constituents have a zero tolerance policy on the topic of indecent exposure, pursuant to local laws. I, the undersigned, understand this policy and am aware that breach of it will lead to suspension or permanent ban from Amtgard events and activities in the Kingdom of Goldenvale. I also understand that it may also lead to the involvement of civil or criminal authorities.

Amtgard, The Kingdom of Goldenvale, Inc. and its constituents have a zero tolerance policy on the topic of minors sharing private sleeping arrangements with unrelated adults unless their parent or guardian is also sharing the same sleeping arrangement. I, the undersigned, understand this policy and am aware that breach of it will lead to suspension or permanent ban from Amtgard events and activities in the Kingdom of Goldenvale. I also understand that it may lead to the involvement of civil or criminal authorities.
5.
Amtgard, The Kingdom of Goldenvale, Inc. assumes no responsibility for travel arrangements of any person who is asked to leave an event. I, the undersigned, understand that in the event I am asked to leave an event my transportation from an event must be immediate and is my responsibility. Failure to immediately leave an event will result in civil or criminal authorities being involved, regardless of the reason I am required to leave site.
I, the undersigned, understand and agree to these policies. If I am a parent or legal guardian signing for my child, I have explained these policies to them, and understand that their failure to follow such policies requires my immediate attention to remove them from site and that Amtgard, The Kingdom of Goldenvale, Inc. will alert authorities to any incident explained above when it involves a minor.
