Proposal:
[
Remove Section 4.3.6 and all appropriate subsections from the Kingdom of Goldenvale Corpora
Stipulation:
The Kingdom of Goldenvale Board of Directors will put into affect policy similar to Section 4.3.6 and all appropriate subsections for the proper handling of the Kingdom Monarch Travel Fund within sixty (60) days of this vote passing.
]
Reasons:
(Precursor: The initial proposal, having passed 3/19/16, should have have been included in the Corpora that I received to update in the last big update; it was not and therefore was missed as I only referenced Althings between October 2016 (the date of last update) and the present.)
In light of the precursor, this is to bring the corpora in line with the intention of the April vote to separate the Board of Directors and the Corpora.
4.3.6- Kingdom Monarch Travel Fund, for reimbursement of airfare to travel to the Gathering of the Clans. This shall be kept in a ledger as earmarked funds by the Treasurer of the Kingdom BoD. These funds will be available for disbursement following these guidelines.
a. After a Kingdom Monarch has gone to Clan and represented us at the Circle of Monarchs meeting, they may present the receipt for their airfare to the Kingdom Prime Minister. They may be reimbursed the full amount of their airfare, or the amount remaining of these earmarked funds, whichever is less, yet not to exceed $500.
b. No reimbursement will be allowed if the Kingdom Monarch does not represent us at the Circle of Monarchs meeting for non-emergency reasons. If the Monarch has an emergency reason why they were unable to attend, they may appeal to a Kingdom Althing vote.
c. Any and all efforts that will be fundraising for the Travel Fund must be clearly labeled as such and include public reporting of outcomes. This should be sent to Kingdom Monarch and Kingdom Prime Minister for inclusion as Althing items as appropriate.

“Althing Proposal:
Remove the following -
7.1.2 A Knight is recommended to take at most one Squire per separate order of Knighthood.
The Corpora should not be "recommending" how many of a belt someone can bestow.
7.1.5 Men-at-Arms and Women-at-Arms may use a black belt with silver trim to signify their position.
RoP covers this, and has another option (Green).”

Change section 4.5 to: A petition of at least 20% of the Citizens, of the appropriate group, may initiate an
Althing proposal to remove of a Local Officer or Kingdom Officer, as appropriate.

Change section 4.5 to: A petition of at least 20% of the Citizens, of the appropriate group, may initiate an
Althing proposal to remove of a Local Officer or Kingdom Officer, as appropriate.
From: A petition of at least 20% of the Citizens of a chapter may initiate the
removal of an officer of that chapter or of an officer of the Kingdom.
Change section 4.5 to bring it more in line with the updated wording of new rules and make more clear the intent of the rule, this was intended to be proposed during the "Banned Players" corpora update, but lost in the shuffle of proposals.
