This would allow any group to become a Core Land. This would also remove Associated Lands, as they would now be pointless.
Change 4.2.1.d to read:
"After a majority vote in favor of following either the Kingdom Corpora, or Principality Corpora if in a Principality, a chapter must follow that Corpora for at least one year prior to becoming a Core Land."
Change 4.2.1.e to read:
"Upon one year of sponsorship and following the Kingdom Corpora, or Principality Corpora if in a Principality, a majority vote by a chapter’s Local Althing shall determine whether they become a Core Land or not. If the chapter chooses to become a Core Land, they are entitled to all benefits of such status. There is no vote by the Kingdom Althing to confirm this status."
Change 4.2.5 to read:
"Core Lands must continue to follow their governing Corpora. Governing corporas, such as the Kingdom of Goldenvale Corpora, or a Principality Corpora, can only be changed by an appropriate level althing. Local althings may waive the bylaws in their governing corpora as necessary for the odd situation that arises, but doing so may result in penalties from their Principality and/or Kingdom. It is recommended that the chapter speak with the Principality or Kingdom Monarch and Prime Minister before allowing any exceptions to these Bylaws."
Add 4.2.6
"Kingdom Officer Elections and Kingdom Althings always follow the rules in the Kingdom of Goldenvale Corpora, even when dealing with candidates or voters from Principality Core Lands."
Finally, as an addendum to this list, put forward the motion that any current Associated Land group can choose to become a Core Land group at this time, waiving the one year restriction provided they immediately adopt an appropriate governing corpora (Kingdom or Nine Blades). This is a one time exception to the time frame to make sure our existing Associated Lands are not left out in the cold.
