Proposal: Removal of Knights' Belts
Amended Proposal:
[Add the following:
3.3.8: The Circle of Knights may strip knighthood, one or multiple, from a player with a two-thirds majority vote of the Circle.
3.3.8.1: A vote to strip a person of knighthood may not be called again within 12 months. An exception to this may be made by the Guildmaster of Knights should substantively new charges or incidents come to light.]

EDITED: allowed the Guildmaster of Knights to make an exception to the limit on votes, per Kate's suggestion.
Presently there are only two avenues for removal of a Knight's belt:
1) The Monarch may strip the belt, with agreement of another officer and the Althing, for proven violations of a number of our documents or policies.
2) The Althing may enact anything it wants, including removal of honours.
It is common throughout Amtgard for the Circle of Knights to have this ability as well to ensure the Circle's quality.
This would require a change to the Goldenvale Corpora in an additional clause:
3.3.8: The Circle of Knights may strip knighthood from a player with a supermajority vote (66%) of the Circle.
3.3.8.1: A vote to strip this Knight of peerage may not be called again within 12 months. An exception to this may be made by the Guildmaster of Knights should substantively new charges or incidents come to light
