Floating Crown seems to be a nebulous concept. There are so many options for going about it that support hasn't factionized. This is wonderful in that it avoids the worst dramas. This is awful in that it means we have very little idea of what "the people" really want to see.
I would very much appreciate if you would read this list of questions and answer them for yourself, if not publicly. Please, also add your own forks in the road to the thread.
Caveat: The editorial comments are mine alone, based on conversations over the past couple of years around the kingdom.
Core Lands, including NY- Seems to be a popular option, though some seem in favor of integrating NY groups into the Core gradually rather than immediately.
Core Lands, excluding NY? - Argument against this is the (current) complete lack of parks other than BD in New England.

Since this is my fancy little world here, we're going to Choose Your Own Adventure and assume we've gone Core Lands with New York integrated in the second term.
