Great Eastern is rapidly approaching and that means that it’s time to talk about Dragonmaster!
In keeping with the theme of this reign, Dragonmaster will be about the glory that is Final Fantasy! But you do not have to fret if you do not want to participate in this theme; all Final Fantasy entries will be opt-in.
Let’s get into the details!
All entries will be judged on a scale of 1.0 to 10.0. If multiple entries are entered into a category by a contestant, only the highest scoring item will be counted. In order to promote a standard of excellence, any contestant whose highest score in a category falls below 7.0 will have a score of zero figured into the final average instead. At least three categories must be entered in order to be eligible for Dragonmaster and/or the Final Fantasy competition.
The standard categories within the corpora will be in effect. If an entry is being entered into the Final Fantasy competition, this must be marked on the entry card in addition to its standard category. Any item that is marked such will have its score go toward Dragonmaster as a whole and the Final Fantasy competition, so long as the previously mentioned requirements are met.
The winners of Dragonmaster and the Final Fantasy competition will be the contestants who have the highest average score across all entered categories. Any single entry is eligible for Best-in-Show. A single contestant is able to win all three, if such skill is shown.
Best of luck to everyone on Saturday, May 24!
